SCHOOL-BASED LION DANCE PROGRAMS

Through a collaboration with Lion Dance ME and partnerships with after-school organizations, we provide youth with interactive learning experiences through Chinese lion dance and culture, led by our passionate, high school and young adult program leaders.

Elementary School

The elementary school curriculum provides students with a cultural and recreational introduction to lion dance as a cultural art form, focusing particularly on the movements and actions involved with lion dance.

Middle School

The middle school curriculum offers students an accelerated introduction to Chinese lion dance and culture with a stronger focus on lion dance as a cultural art form.

High School

In partnership with LionDanceME, our high school clubs encourage all youth, regardless of ethnicity or experience level, to learn Chinese lion dance and culture while also training youth to be leaders through a peer-to-peer mentorship model.
